It’s $60/mo, has no data cap, is completely wireless (uses 5G/4G), and my speed tests show about 190-ish down and 40-ish up (more than enough for streaming). It supports up to 64 devices. Can’t speak on Comcast. Hahahahaha. But seriously, no. Few buildings in Miami are even on fiber. Oh they sell you whatever claim you’ll buy. Trying to choose between AT&T w/ fiber and Xfinity right now in the Shelby Township, MI area. Xfinity is offering 400 Mbps download with unlimited data for $65/mo if you sign up for automatic payment. AT&T is offering 50 Mbps download/10 Mbps upload with fiber for $55/mo. I live in a major city so I get access to Xfinity and Verizon Fios gig options but strangely no AT&T fiber. In my opinion, as much as I want to leave Xfinity I can’t because even though FIOS has symmetrical gig speeds it’s about 300 mbps slower for their service (download) but more importantly their cable offerings are trash compared to ... Xfinity was the default for my building so I’d have to see if I can return it, but I’ve just never heard of RCN. in my experience, in most of boston you don’t have a choice between non-satellite - it’s either rcn or xfinity . AT&T's website said that they could only offer a plan for 18 Mbps (!!!) for my new address, and Comcast Xfinity said the best plan they offered was "up to" 50 Mbps.On cable you get a great pipe down but limited upload. With Fiber you get consistent variables of upload and download. Xfinity may offer 1000 down but only 200 up whereas fibers for the same offers 1000 up and down. The closer the upload and download speeds the least amount of latency is caused on your end. .
